Amazing scenery in the northernmost Japan
It is summer time now in Hokkaido,
and the time when excellent flower gardens are collecting many tourists.
I used to be one of them, but, this year, I drove to look for natural beauties, not flowers.
Mt.Rishiri, so called “Rishiri Fuji” as its shape looks like a Mt.Fuji,
is located south-west approximately 30 kilometers away
beyond the Japan Sea from the cape of Bakkai in the south of Wakkanai city.
I could see the breathtaking distant view of “Rishiri Fuji” this time
though the last time was disturbed by a dense fog.
“White path” is a tourist path where washed and crushed numberless shells of scallop
is spread and lasts approximately 3 kilometers
Shells of pure white, luxuriant summer grass,
and dark blue sea into which the white path is extending,
which was really a gem of contrast that gave me a stunning impression.
