Childhood memories which have leapt through time

My daughter’s son has freshly started attending elementary school from this April.

When a summer break started, he brought home a plant pot with morning glories.

As my daughter’s family has decided to go home of her husband,

she asked me to water the morning glories once every day.

Watering brought me a lot of memories of my childhood 60 years ago.

When I was small, I planted morning glories every summer,

which grew along the wall of my house,

and it was my pleasure to count the number of flowers blossomed every morning.

What my daughter asked me did not include it,

but I have made it my additional task to take some pictures of the blossomed flowers

and lined them to my grandson, mentioning the number of flowers blossomed.

It was really a very happy week for me.
